Tea Love

I have never talked about glass of tea like this before. I m a coffee person. I love the fresh aroma of coffee that wafts through the air, travel through my nose, spreads in my brain and then, it starts functioning properly! Like how engine oil works an engine!

But then, while making this Tea, as the milk was boiling with the spices, all the above happened. It has become our new favorite and special for weekends.  We enjoyed this along with Yemeni doughnuts Bakhmri.

Yemeni tea is very much a cultural part of the Swahili people staying at the coast of East Africa. And not surprising at all as Yemeni people would go there for trade and many settled in East Africa. Such a flavourful and comforting tea and I love it with the local Mahamri which is so similar to Bakhmri.
