Do your kids eat fruits? Mine are very fussy. They don't fuss much about vegetables, but fruits, it is very hard to even make them eat a banana. Can't blame them either. Being an adult, i find it tough to include the habit of fruits in my regular eating routine. It kind of skips my mind, i have to make a conscious effort to eat a fruit either as such or put it in my salad or smoothies like this.

🍹Why Smoothies

The easy way i made my kids enjoy fruits is through smoothies. Milk, fruit and some sweetener and blend it. To make it more interesting add some good quality chocolate. This Banana Nutella smoothie is their favorite till date.

I personally prefer a good smoothie after my morning yoga. Smoothies are great way to start the day. The milk and fruit along with the dates gives you, much needed energy to carry you through the days work. My personal favorite is this Mixed berries and banana smoothie.

Apple and dates

I enjoy making lot of yogurt smoothies, that too during summer months, yogurt adds a much needed relief from the hot climate. This colorful carrot & ginger smoothie and this beets lassi are my absolute favorites.

This delicious apple and dates smoothies has been my breakfast and my kiddos my kiddos 4pm snack innumerable days.

💭 Why should you try this Apple & dates smoothie?

  • Easy to make, it literally takes just minutes to make.
  • Easy to adapt. If you want to add chocolate or some cacao, yes you can. Can be made vegan.
  • Easy way to introduce fruits. They will never know what fruit it is and the color make them think it is chocolate. Adults must know better, this is a delicious smoothie, drink up!
